
| James "JT" Sharp began training in Tae Kwon Do in 1993 at the age of 10 at the Central City Tae Kwon Do Studio under Master Brandon Baker. He continued to train under Master Baker and received his 1st Degree Black Belt in 1998, then later received his 2nd Degree in 2001. He is also holds a 1st Degree Black Belt from the World Tae Kwon Do Headquarters (Kukkiwon). Mr. Sharp's rank is recognized by Grandmaster Y.S. Choi, President of the TTCA. Mr. Sharp joined the National Guard at the age of 17. He received many different levels of hand to hand combat, including PPCT and Manondoc training at Basic training and U.S. Army MP School. Mr. Sharp worked closely with the SF ODA (Special Forces, Operational Detachment Alpha) while serving a tour in Iraq. He later served as Personal Security Detail for various Officers in Iraq. After Mr. Sharp completed his enlistment at the end of his tour in Iraq he joined Mr. Johnson and Mr. Edwards as an Instructor at the Muhlenberg County Tae Kwon Do Studio. He leads students by example, participating in many classes alongside the students and giving instruction whenever the need arises. |
