Brandon Edwards - 2nd Degree Black Belt
Brandon Edwards began studying Martial Arts in 1993 at the age of 15. He started in the World Tae Kwon Do
Association under Master Brandon Baker ( then a 4th Degree). He tested for all color belts under Grandmaster Y.S.
Choi. He then went to the Traditional Tae Kwon do Chung Do Kwan Association (TTCA) when GM Choi founded it in
1996. He was a part of the second black belt class of the TTCA. He received his 1st Degree Black Belt in 1996 at the age
of 18. He continued to study Tae Kwon Do through college. Mr. Edwards' job as a Railroad Engineer with CSX, one of
five class one railroads in the U.S., caused him to travel away from his home school and instructors. While away, he
taught classes in Indianapolis IN including Tae Kwon Do and Self defense. He also expanded his knowledge by
studying boxing from Marty England, a boxing instructor trained at the U.S. Army's West Point Academy.He also
achieved a life long dream and studied the Japanese Samurai art of Jinenkan Budoukun Kenjutsu under Unsui Sensi
Fumio Manaka and Sensi Andy Lien, a Yodan (4th Degree Black Belt). He returned home and helped Jim Johnson, his
cousin and senior in Tae Kwon Do to open the Muhlenberg Co. Tae Kwon Do Studio. Mr. Edwards is now a 2nd Degree
Blackbelt in the TTCA.
